
I had just seen the new movie “The Social Network” the story about the founders of the social-networking website, Facebook. I actually saw the movie twice and I never do that. I was just amazed at the entire phenomenon. It is interesting in America how certain trends develop, how different generations bring new ideas and how quickly our world changes. Back in the 50’s how many restaurants were there? People didn’t eat out. Then we had the sexual revolution. In the 80’s computers, the 90’s cell phones. I believe the next big trend will be in education. With our current economic challenges people are beginning to ask themselves the tough questions. They weren’t satisfied in the jobs they just lost anyway. What is it that they love to do, something that they are passionate about, that they could learn more about and actually earn a living at?

There are so many pieces to being newly single. So much of what was in your life– may have changed through your newly single status. It can be exciting and terrifying all at the same time. And now you may be entering the dating world for the first time in a while. Some of our Newly Single community may be newly single after only a few weeks or months – but there are other members of our community who are newly single after years of partnership or marriage.

When I opened my email this morning, I received a little inspirational message. Do you get any of those magically delivered to your inbox every morning? They can be pretty cool. This morning my message from The Universe had this to say to me….

Last night I had dinner with one of my favorite SMs (Single Males). He didn’t pick me up, but that was okay. We met at our favorite Thai food restaurant. He is such a gentleman. He was on time. He held the door for me. He let me have the “good” seat.

Dream. Dream big. Dreams do come true! How many little girls dream about being Miss America? How often are the Barbies brought out and the fantasy play begins? What if you allowed yourself to believe in the possibility that every dream you have can materialize? It may sound crazy, it may sound like mystical or magical thinking, but it is not!
Tantra proposes that kundalini energy can be “awakened” by a guru, but body and spirit must be prepared by breath control, physical exercises, visualization, and chanting. The kundalini can also awaken as a result of doing yoga or other forms of spiritual practice, and sometimes it can awaken spontaneously, for no obvious reason.
